Radiohead fans will be in 007 heaven at the band's only Scottish gig on Tuesday. The band have been trying out a Bond song - Carly Simon's Nobody Does It Better - on the US leg of their tour. And if all goes well, they will play their interesting version in Glasgow.
Radiohead's treatment of the song has already been given the thumbs-up by Michael Stipe's REM.
Radiohead singer Thom Yorke said: "REM have been totally supportive. They came on stage with champagne on the final night of the tour and said we were their favourite band.
"Then they launched into Nobody Does It Better with us."
Radiohead are also planning
to play a "greatest hits" package of B-sides as well as performing songs
from their gold-selling LPs Pablo Honey and The Bends.
