NEW YORK (ENTERTAINMENT WIRE) - Following sold out screenings in Austin, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco and Chicago, Capitol Records and Seventh Art Releasing have added additional screenings of the Radiohead film Meeting People Is Easy in Boston, Cleveland, Detroit, Ithaca and Seattle, with additional markets to be confirmed. The film premiered at Austin's South By Southwest music conference in March, and was held over for extra weekends in Los Angeles and New York after all scheduled screenings sold out and fans had to be turned away. With the new screening dates and the broadcast premiere on the film scheduled for May 16th on MTV, the street date of the film has been moved to May 18th from May 4th. An edited 50 minute broadcast version will air on MTV's "120 Minutes" at midnight on Sunday, May 16th as part of a Radiohead special, featuring exclusive interview and performance footage.

 Radiohead have built an impressive following, all the while defying popular conventions in writing, recording and promoting their music. Their last album, OK Computer, stands as an unique achievement in rock and roll history, and was recently selected as one of The Essential Recordings of the '90s by Rolling Stone, along with The Bends. Shot during the year of promotion and touring for the Grammy-winning platinum record, Meeting People is no different:
