High and Dry (UK Version)
Directed by David Mould
Filmed at Vasquez Rocks State Park in California. |

This was to accompany the UK
release of the single.
In the background to this video is a well known slab of rock that was use in both
Star Trek (the original series) and also in Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey (it's the
rock that Bill and Ted are thrown off). A good trekkie will probably know it's exact
location. (thanks to Danny)
From an interview: ...shot by David Mould at Vasqez Rocks in California, it featured
the band playing out in the desert in front of a water tanker. As the song unfolded,
the band were soaked by falling rain, and thereby hung an amusing little tale. "When
we turned on the rain machine, we didn't realise you could warm up the water beforehand
so the whole band ended up being doused in ice cold water and getting flue. Colin
was shaking so much I thought he was going to keel over." |
