Karma Police
Directed by Jonathan Glazer
Filmed somewhere in rural England
The director says that this one was inspired by a bad dream. It's all about retribution. The viewer's view is from the drivers seat and Thom is seen as a 'story teller' as opposed to the subject of the video. The bloke pictured is followed by a car before falling to his knees with exhuastion, and setting a trail of fuel alight which leads to the car and it's burning. Thom is a rear passenger throughout until the final shot where he disappears.

Review by Karen Hands:
The phrase 'nightmare car journey' just about sums up this video. Thom is sitting in the back of the car that is driving along a road in Norfolk at night. We only see him at the "This is what you get" sections. There is a man running down the road and the car is following him. Eventually the man runs out of puff, stops and lights a match. He drops it and it sets light to a stream of petrol. The fire reaches the car and engulfs it in flames. The driver, who we never see, panics. The camera pans round to where Thom should be sitting. But he has mysteriously escaped into the night. This was also directed by Jonathan Glazer.
