Thom continuosly switches between various acoustics and electrics.  His electric setup includes:
 

• A customized Thinline Fender Telecaster with 3 pickups instead of 2,
• a cherry red Gibson SG (Prove Yourself),
• a 70's Telecaster deluxe,
• a Fender Jazzmaster (Airbag, Lucky),
• a customized 70's Telecaster with Strat Headstock and an active preamp control,
• a Sunburst Rickenbacker 360.

• Takamine Acoustic (model unknown)
• a Yari Dy-88 Acoustic (One of Thom's favorites, used for Paranoid Android, etc...)

Thom's preffered amp is a Fender Twin Reverb.  He plugs into it by way of a ProCo Turbo Rat distortion pedal and a Boss digital delay.

He also uses a Marshall JMO-1 preamp, various Fender Twin's and VOX AC30s.

When asked about strings, he replies, "I use them."

Thom did "Fitter Happier" on a Macintosh computer using the built-in SimpleText voice generator using the "Fred" voice setting.
