Radiohead picked up two of the five NME Awards they were nominated for. They won for Best Video (‘There There’) and Best Album (Hail To The Thief).
They were beat out by The White Stripes (‘7 Nation Army’) for Best Single (‘There There’ was nominated), Queens of the Stone Age for Best Live Band, and The Libertines for Best UK Band.

Treefingers reports that Parlophone has announced the basic details for the new Radiohead TV DVD. It will contain all four episodes of The Most Gigantic Lying Mouth of All Time, with a total running time of 110 minutes. It will also be available in a regular and deluxe edition, with the deluxe version coming in a special “clamshell” packaging.
No live footage or special features were listed, but one can’t help but notice that the four episodes of TMGLMOAT do not add up to 110 minutes, so there may be a few surprises hidden in there.
Release dates are April 19th for the UK and Europe, and April 20th for the US. Can’t find a place to preorder just yet, but we’ll keep looking. Let us know if you do, and what the price is, so we can tell you where the cheapest place to get it is. After all- money’s tight in this Bush/Blair economy.

As some of you know, Joseph Tate (who runs the very different and highly recommended PULK-PULL*), has been preparing a book entitled The Music and Art of Radiohead for some time now.
While the book is still not due out until late 2004/early 2005, he’s posted the table of contents on his webpage, and it includes essays from the likes of Greg Hainge, Lisa Leblanc, and even Princeton’s Paul Lansky.

Who says Radiohead fans aren’t an eclectic bunch. Earlier this week we reported on the UMass Marching Band’s “Paranoid Android”, and now At Ease reports that Bluegrass trio Nickel Creek has been performing a version of “Just”.
