If you’ve needed an excuse to pop over to the Playboy website, we’ve got one for you. Radiohead is nominated for three awards in their annual music poll. Those of you who have a subscription (ahem, for the articles, of course) can vote via a tear-out section, while the rest of us prudes have to vote on the internet.
They’re nominated for
Best Rock Album (and get this field):
White Stripes – Elephant
Radiohead – HTTT
Rancid – Indestructible
Metallica – St. Anger
The Strokes – Room on Fire
Best Live Show:
Bruce Springsteen
Coldplay
The Rolling Stones
Radiohead
The Flaming Lips
Biggest Disappointment (Don’t vote here…):
Metallica – St. Anger
Radiohead – HTTT
Andrew WK – The Wold
Blur – Think Tank
Limp Bizkit – Results May Vary
Not sure how much weight one can put on any poll that lumps Radiohead with Metallica, Limp Bizkit, and Andrew WK, but there you have it.
Vote here.

CNN Article
Several of you have written in to tell us about an article on Radiohead at CNN.com. The article is actually the same one from the Reuters wire service that we reported a few days ago. A wire service is sort of a like a generic article base, so expect to see the same article pop up in several places over the next few days.
(Thanks to all those who wrote in…keep it coming!)

Bodysong Release Info
From w.a.s.t.e.-
On 27th October this year, Parlophone/EMI will release a soundtrack album by Jonny Greenwood entitled ‘Bodysong’. At the end of last year, Jonny took advantage of some time off from the band to write and record the soundtrack to ‘Bodysong’, with Radiohead engineer Graeme Stewart at the band’s Oxford studio. It’s a varied collection of music, electronic and accoustic, and features additional musicians in the form of the Emperor String Quartet, and a jazz quartet lead by Gerrard Presencer. Colin plays bass on one track too.
‘Bodysong’, the film directed by Simon Pummell, is a fascinating collage of the experience of being human, from birth to death. The film is dialogue free and is compiled from sourced images spanning the past 100 years. Bodysong the film is scheduled for release in December. For further information and to hear clips from the soundtrack go to: www.bodysong.com.
You may need to check locally for release dates, but here’s what we know. If you can’t find it, you can always purchase it from the waste emporium.
