Although a trick of MT made us think we’d reported on it previously, Chieftan Mews, whom you may know as the madman behind Radiohead TV, had taken to selling some of his more “personal” items on eBay. The auctions have ended…with over $700 in sales!
Empty wallet – $89.88
Signed photo – $102.50
Clump of hair + glass eye – $119.76
Bath water – $123.01
Torn diary page – $319.00
Who knows if the winning bidders will get anything. Who knows if anything was there to begin with! All I know is that someone paid $319 for a page of a fictional character’s diary, and I am compiling my old things for sale at once.

Radiohead.tv updated
The below picture is what you see when you visit the old Radiohead TV site. The words Chieftan Mews=Maniac appear, as does a link to purchase the DVD.
Mmmm, promotion…

Chieftan Mews Speaks…Again
From the Chieftan Mews site. Yes, we’re excited too.
You can now download or stream the Band Aid video filmed at Air Studios during the recording or Band Aid 2004. Jonny and Thom are both featured in the video.
There are two versions – the video download which is very high quality (£2.50, 800kbps) and you can keep forever or the streamed version (£1, 300kbps).
You can find the video downloads at the Band Aid video page, fittingly.
News Roundup
I’ve been a bit busy moving cross-country, so there’s been no time for posting. Therefore, we’ve missed out on a few important items. Just wanted to take a minute and fill you in-
Band Aid
Thom and Jonny both took part in the recording of Band Aid 20’s “Do They Know It’s Christmas?”, Thom playing piano (but not singing) and Jonny playing guitar. You can order the single, which also features the likes of Bono, Dizzee Rascal, Joss Stone, and Justin Harkness, here.
iTunes
For the first time, Radiohead tracks are available on the iTunes music store. The catch? They’re only offering The Bends, and you can only get it if you’re using the European iTunes store.
Slowly Downward
Updated, at long last. We missed you, Stanley.
(Thanks to all that wrote in. Regular updates shall begin again.)
Jonny in Harry Potter 4?
As our more film-minded readers may know, Jarvis Cocker (whom you know from Pulp) is doing the music for the new Harry Potter film, The Goblet of Fire. Franz Ferdinand were supposed to be featured in the film as a band of witches called the “Wyrd Sisters”, but have bowed out.
The Mirror says that Jarvis and our very own Jonny have replaced them. This goes in the rumor file for now, but you never know.
