MTV Ticket Pre-Sale

MTV, who usually isn’t this cool, will be pre-selling tickets for the first leg of the Radiohead North American tour on Thursday at 10am (local time) at their site, MTV.com. You can also win a “trip around the world with Radiohead” so get your passports ready. ‘Head on over to MTV

Our friends at AliveOne in Chicago will be throwing a release party for Amnesiac later this month. A time hasn’t been set to begin but it looks like the date will be May 30th. There will be plenty of goodies given away so make sure not to miss this! Here’s the address:

According to the box office at the Santa Barbara Bowl, tickets will go onsale for both the June 29 and 30 shows on Sunday, May 13 at 12pm through Ticketmaster.

Our Kid Eh

Our Kid Eh
On May 14 Manchester-based rock gods The Shirehorses (they’re huge in England, really) will release their mildly anticipated second album ‘Our Kid Eh’. The artwork parodies an album of a similar title from some local pub band from Oxford called ‘Radiohead’, and the second track on the Shirehorses album parodies one of Radiohead’s songs.

Tickets officially go on sale Saturday, May 12th at Ticketmaster for $49.50 plus facility fee and service charge (4 ticket limit). Listen to The FOX to win Free tickets all week! There seems to be some confusion about Butler Field, the location of the Chicago Radiohead show on August 1. Butler Field is in Grant Park, where the soon-to-be-dismantled Petrillo Music Shell is, where the Chicago Jazz Festival (among other things) is held every year. Previous reports of it being at Soldier Field were incorrect.

Thom Yorke makes a brief appearance as an evil, robot-controlling mastermind in “The Meathead Perspective”, a Nine Inch Nails-related “humor” site, specifically in Chapter 68 of an ongoing fantasy story entitled “Where the Hell is the DVD”.
There will be an Amnesiac listening party in Singapore.
