“I’ve Seen It All”
According to the Danish newspaper, Politiken, Bjork will be releasing an 8 track album in September featuring the duet with Thom. The album contains seven vocal tracks and one instrumental track and also features a duet with the French actress Catherine Deneuve.

Also, head on over here to read an article about the upcoming soundtrack. Here’s a snippet of the good stuff:
“Composed painstakingly, over time, often in the evenings after a day’s shooting, the score began with melodies. The first song to emerge was ‘I’ve Seen It All’, heard on the album as a duet with Radiohead’s Thom Yorke.”

Here is a snippet from a recent interview that Les Inrockuptibles, a French Magazine, had with Bjork:

Les Inrocks : In this movie, you sing in duet with Thom Yorke, don’t you?

Bjork : I always wanted to collaborate with him, to mix our voices… so, Selma (Bjñrk’s character) sings with Thom Yorke in her dreams. These kind of things never happen in the real life. But in a dream, you can sing with Thom Yorke.
(Many thanks to our friend, Lunargirl)

In case you’ve been out of the loop, Thom is doing a duet with Bjork for her new film, Dancer in the Dark.

Bjork and Yorke Duet Update

Bjork’s official website, Websense, has this to say about the rumor of Thom Yorke and Bjork recording a duet together for Bjork’s upcoming film, Dancer in the Dark:

“Some confusion has risen once again around the collaboration between Bjork and Thom Yorke of Radiohead. The most interesting and speculative was similar to: ‘OhMYGawd! it is not happening!’ Why this was proclaimed Meester Fly and his team of web insects never understood. When the only thing they heard on the grapewire was that it was still on, but not yet happened. Things don’t happen until they happen, pretty obvious isn’t ?! So what can Meester Fly say today! Well, it has happened, (and if it has not happened he will retract this statement), but the act happened in a foreign country, at least foreign to England and Iceland.”

Everything has to be complicated, doesn’t it? 🙂

By the way, Meester Fly is the Websense reporter of news.

The newest issue of Rollingstone magazine has a blurb about the duet too… Check it out at your local book store or news agent! (thanks to Kevin B)
