It looks as if a few Radiohead fans are starting up a movement to have the video made for “Lucky” appear on MTV’s Total Request Live on May 2, 2000. What can you do? Simple. On May 2 go to MTV.com and click on the “TRL” section of the site. From there, go to the “Play My Song” bit. At the bottom of the page, you’ll see a place to enter in a video not listed.

Those of you that set your VCR’s to tape the “120 Minutes of Radiohead” rebroadcast on MTV last Saturday are probably upset because the special never aired. Instead you got “Say What? Karaoke.” Matt Pinfield apologized on 120 Minutes Sunday and said that the special will air again soon. Stay tuned…

Did anyone see last Sunday’s episode of the FOX sitcom Family Guy? They had a nice reference to Radiohead.
Meg: So you like music?
Boy: Oh yeah, I sure do. I like Garbage and Phish and Blur…
Meg: Oh really.
Boy: Yeah, I DON’T LISTEN TO WHAT THE CORPORATIONS WANT ME TOO!!!
Meg: Woah.
Boy: I also like Radiohead.
There’s an article at MTV about the addition of “Meeting People is Easy” dates.
For those of you expecting to see the Radiohead special on 120 Minutes last Sunday, try again on May 16. It’s been moved. More details below.

From the Radiohead Announce List:
“Some official news on the new album. The band have been in a stately home in Gloucestershire (as they did in Bath for the last album) since April 12th recording stuff with producer Nigel Godrich for the next LP. There’s no idea how many songs they’re working on yet – it’s still early days, but they have got tons of stuff down from their demoing in France, Denmark and on the road with their mobile studio.”

Thom is apparently performing a solo set at the annual Tibetan Freedom Concert in June. This year’s concert will be held in four cities around the world and Thom will be doing an acoustic set in Amsterdam. The date is June 13 at the Rai Parkhalle. The band won’t be joining because it would disrupt recording of the new album.
