Yesterday Ticketmaster had on their Website that the 2 Liberty State Park shows in New Jersey were going to go on sale tomorrow at 9:00am. They were incorrect and have changed the “Internet Presale” date to June 14th at 10:00am. Don’t kill the messenger! 🙂
Also, just to clear up the whole ticket process for the North American second leg tour. No, we don’t have any info on the Philadelphia or Hollywood shows. As soon as we do, I can promise you it will be on the site. As for the MTV “presale” and the Ticketmaster “Internet Onsale,” they are the exact same thing. You could go to either at 10:00am on June 14th to get your tickets. MTV and Ticketmaster just label it differently. And finally, the “General Sale” of tickets will occur at Ticketmaster outlets on June 16. This is if, of course, there are any tickets left over from the “MTV presale” or “Ticketmaster Internet Onsale.” “General Sale” is when you physically go to a Ticketmaster outlet and purchase tickets from a human being. It is to your advantage to get your tickets over the Internet through either MTV or Ticketmaster…. Or if you were lucky enough to get a chance to purchase straight from w.a.s.t.e. Tickets for North American Tour
W.A.S.T.E LOTTERY – w.a.s.t.e have once again begged for some tickets to sell direct to fans. Please go to http://www.waste.uk.com and click on NORTH AMERICAN TICKETS. You will have the opportunity to request tickets for the August USA shows using our lottery system which will start from 12.01 am on June 7th, 2001 until noon on June 10th, 2001. Your request will be entered into a lottery to see who gets to buy what and where….. whether you are successful or not, you will be e-mailed within 72 hours of the close on the 10th.
GENERAL ON-SALE DATE – June16th, 2001
The easiest way to request tickets will be on-line through w.a.s.t.e. starting one minute after midnight, June 7th, but for those of you non-internet savvy types out there, you can also purchase tickets or get information about your request by calling 1-804-951-0327 beginning June 9th at 9:00 am. Our phone lines will be open June 9th from 9:00 am until 9 pm and on June 10th from 9:00 am until noon. THERE IS NO PREFERENCE GIVEN TO TIME OR METHOD OF ORDER; everyone gets a fair chance.
Please do not scramble to get there – relax, sit back and take your time. There is no hurry and no first come first served rush to contend with………anytime over those three and a half days will do.

capitol records has confirmed the north american tour dates. they added another date in chicago on april 10.
there’s a nice little feature in JamMusic about the band’s upcoming tour.
on february 7, MTV UK will be showing radiohead specials. expect a videography and concert footage among other things as well.

some North American tour dates have been announced:
“Radiohead is about to embark on their second U.S. tour in support of OK Computer, with Spiritualized opening four or five shows, and Bjork possibly on the bill for four dates. The tour kicks off March 28 at the Theater Bayou Place in Houston, Texas, and will most likely wrap up April 17 at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. Bjork is tentatively slated to appear on the last four dates of the trek. At press time, the only two Spiritualized dates confirmed were the March 28 Houston show and the April 1 Los Angeles show. Here are the initial confirmed dates; more will be added:

make sure to watch MTV’s 120 minutes tonight at 12:00 am EST time. they will be showing live footage of radiohead to promote the new 120 minutes live cd that contains fake plastic trees live. the cd should be released sometime this week.
