As you probably already know, Danny Elfman will be providing the score for Terminator Salvation. At past events, director McG had mentioned that he at once point was considering having Radiohead, or more specifically front man Thom Yorke provide some score for the film. For some reason or another, the idea just never came to fruition.
But according to The Playlist, McG sounded a lot more hopefully about the idea during his appearance at the New York Comic Con over the weekend. Actually, he says that if it happens, it would be a collaboration between Yorke and Academy Award-winning Argentinian composer Gustavo Santaolalla (Babel, 21 Grams, Brokeback Mountain).
“We talked about Gustavo getting together with Thom Yorke from Radiohead which I thought would be very interesting.,” McG said. “And they may still do a couple of sounds for the movie.”
Hmmm. Okay. We’ll just have to wait and see, won’t we?
