Radiohead “Live in Dublin” Correction

As reported last Thursday, the Radiohead “Live in Dublin” concert footage will be part of the HIQI Film Series. The “Live in Dublin” film will only be shown at the Los Angeles screenings (9/21 – 10/4) and not across the country as reported by MTV. {thanks to David}
Belfast
Another show has been confirmed for September 15 in Belfast. The show will be held at the Odyssey Arena, the same venue for the September 14 gig.

Los Angeles Philharmonic

In an interview with the Finnish newspaper Helsingin Sanomat, L.A. Philharmonic Music Director Esa-Pekka Salonen spoke about Radiohead and the possibilty that there may be something in the future between them:

“I don’t understand the music that Darude (Finnish pop band) makes but I understand Radiohead. They are a great band. We had dinner together where we talked about a collaboration.”

It has been a rumor that Radiohead and the Los Angeles Philharmonic may be doing something together in the future. Stay tuned!!! {thanks to Jani}

Aphex Twin talks about Radiohead

In a small interview with AudioGalaxy, Richard D. James (aka Aphex Twin) comments on Radiohead:

James is asked, “It is widely known that Radiohead’s Kid A was widely influenced by your music, in particular ‘Come As you Are’…What do you think of their new stuff and other contemporaries?” His response: “Well they widely agreed to pay me 70% of the widely royalties so, Im not complaining.”
