Hear “I’ve Seen It All”
You can hear a live version of the Bjork song “I’ve Seen It All”, without Thom, by clicking http://emiliana.nu/special/ditd/Bjork-ihaveseenitall-liveUC-Bryansversion.mp3.

This is the song that Thom and Bjork have done together for the upcoming Dancer in the Dark soundtrack. Thom does not appear on this version.

Unbelievable Jonny
Did you know that Jonny actually played on an Unbelievable Truth song? It’s true. Back in 1993 Jonny recorded the lead guitar for a song called “Sharing” with Andy Yorke (Thom’s brother) and Nigel Powell for their band, the Unbelievable Truth. You can download a mp3 of the tune by going to http://www.unbelievable-truth.com/currentmusic/download.html.

You can now purchase tickets for the two concert dates in France that were announced yesterday at http://www.fnac.fr/billetel/html/seances?codman=OHEAD. Tickets cost 275 Francs per ticket (US $38, £26, 81176 Italian Lira, and 82 German Marks). The tent that the band will be using seats close to 10,000 people and is supposedly going to be used for the entire European tour this Fall. Tickets for the September 19th and 20th French shows will go onsale again on May 29 at other ticket agents and by phone.

Just for trivial purposes, the image at the beginning of radiohead.com is titled “bigtop.gif”.

Also, two dates in Brussels, Belgium and two more in Nijmegen, Holland will be announced soon, along with a full-scale UK tour.

This is only the beginning. 🙂

“I’ve Seen It All”
According to the Danish newspaper, Politiken, Bjork will be releasing an 8 track album in September featuring the duet with Thom. The album contains seven vocal tracks and one instrumental track and also features a duet with the French actress Catherine Deneuve.

Also, head on over here to read an article about the upcoming soundtrack. Here’s a snippet of the good stuff:
“Composed painstakingly, over time, often in the evenings after a day’s shooting, the score began with melodies. The first song to emerge was ‘I’ve Seen It All’, heard on the album as a duet with Radiohead’s Thom Yorke.”

According to French radio Oui FM and www.fnac.com, Radiohead will be playing two more dates this September in France. Nothing has been confirmed by the band yet, but we are to believe that the tickets will go on sale tomorrow ( May 25) from www.fnac.com, and then on again on (May 29) at other ticket agents.

The two shows will take place on September 19th and 20th in a tent similar to a circus big-top, which is supposedly going to be built just for the shows. The gigs will be near the Stade de France, in St Denis, a city very close to Paris.
This most likely means that the band will be touring Europe around that time and that more European dates will surface soon.

For those in North America, expect Radiohead to tour your area towards the end of the year or early 2001.
Stay tuned!

Rankin Exhibition

From Garbage.com:

World renowned photographer, Rankin, will be staging his Celebration Exhibition — an alternative collection of his portraits which show celebrities relaxing instead of posing in front of the camera. This exhibit will take place at The Proud Galleries (UK) during the month of April and will include a photo taken of Shirley Manson. Other artists that Rankin will include in the exhibit — and a subsequent book — include Mel C, Thom Yorke, Tricky, REM, Daniem Hirst and Beck.
